  • IFTO will act as an umbrella organisation for the benefit of the members to promote and develop food & culinary tourism Industry in India and abroad.
  • IFTO will work closely with various State governments as a catalyst to develop culinary trails and local skill development with respect to culinary tourism for the benefit of its members.

Type of Membership

1. Active Members: Any company, individual or an organisation involved in culinary/food tourism in India as a supplier, aggregator, promoter, participant or similar capacity can become an active member. Only one office or branch of a company/organisation can be admitted as an Active Member of IFTO. Active members will have voting rights.

FEES: One time admission fee: INR 2500. Recurring Annual Subscription: INR 3500

2. Active Members: Any non-profit Industry Association which is involved in culinary tourism or related fields like accommodations, marketing, publications, suppliers and others shall be eligible as allied members. They shall have the right to participate in activities of organisation and will not be eligible for voting.

3. International Members: International companies’ firms, organisations and people associated with food tourism industry with overseas office and no offices in India, shall be eligible as International members of organisation. They shall have the right to participate in activities of organisation and will not be eligible for voting.

4. Associate Members: Overseas offices and any additional branches in other places of an active or allied member can be admitted as Associate Members of IFTO. These members will not be eligible for voting.

5. Patron Members:  The Governing body of IFTO may invite persons who have distinguished themselves by their services to the food tourism and travel Industry to become Patron Members of the organisation.  Patron Members will be not eligible for Voting.
